Biography

Kate is a Senior Consultant with more than 15 years of experience in strategy and transformation, primarily in healthcare. She has worked both within frontline providers and at building partnerships that cross health systems. She focuses on leading large-scale transformation initiatives that improve experience and deliver value, with particular strengths in complex integrations, stakeholder engagement, and operational improvement.

Before joining UCSF, Kate established the strategy function at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals in London, where she went on to lead clinical and digital transformation as well as partnerships focused on research and commercialization. Before that, she led transformation at the largest community hospital system in Canada, where her work in the strategy office centered on integrated care and population health. Having lived and worked abroad, Kate brings firsthand experience of different health systems and ways of working.

Kate holds a Master of Science in clinical research and a Bachelors in English and Psychology, both from the University of Toronto. She is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and holds certifications in project management and quality improvement.
