Biography
Lorna Vasquez is a Consultant with the Enterprise Strategy & Transformation (EST) team at UCSF, supporting teams to adapt to new systems, processes, and ways of working.
Lorna’s many hats include supporting processes in change management, process improvement, and program coordination. In partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, this work includes supporting system implementations, developing communications, and creating practical tools that help teams navigate change. These efforts have contributed to enterprise-wide initiatives such as the implementation of Zoom Workspace at UCSF, including support for system configuration and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to UCSF, Lorna worked at San José State University and Wells Fargo, furthering program operations, process standardization, and internal governance initiatives. Across these roles, Lorna developed documentation, streamlined workflows, and improved communication practices to support more effective operations.
Lorna is known for her thoughtful, empathetic, and collaborative approach to problem-solving. She makes complex changes easier to understand and navigate, and approaches challenges with a holistic perspective.
